One billion nets. A billion steps together

In September 2023, our billionth PermaNet bed net was distributed, a testament to Vestergaard’s belief that 'everything is possible'.

We started as a small sewing operation in Denmark over 50 years ago, and today, we produce a wide range of durable insecticidal bed nets to combat malaria, a disease that claims a child's life almost every minute.

Today, one child dies nearly every minute from malaria. The challenge ahead is significant. We remain committed to stopping the clock on malaria because it has no place in our lives.

Vestergaard's Impact

It's challenging to determine the exact number of people our nets protect annually, but we'd like to share a success story illustrating how our nets and partners have played a crucial role in achieving a malaria-free world.
